Clean out those closets as you get ready for the coming school year! Find those worn, gently used or never used (and never will be used) sneakers and hold onto them for just a couple more weeks. We will be running our "Got Sneakers" fundraiser from August 30 through September 11. You can drop them off at the Vallo home, there will be a bin located on his front porch. If it is easier, you can have your student bring them to rehearsal and drop them off in the band room. It is hard to believe that an estimated 600 million pairs of shoes go into America's landfills every year! 100% of these shoes can be recycled and the majority of these shoes can still be reused. That's why we hold a sneaker drive with GotSneakers! The sneakers that we collect through the GotSneakers program will help us raise much needed funds AND keep sneakers out of landfills. Every pair of sneakers counts and we receive a different amount of profit depending on the sneakers' condition but we will take them all!
