The 33rd Annual Pequannock Township High School Marching Band Competition will kick‐off on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Pequannock Township High School Stadium, Sunset Road & West Parkway, Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

This USBands sanctioned “Gold Event” band competition will feature over seven hundred performers from eleven (11) of the best high school marching bands from New Jersey competing in 5 Group sizes in both ‘A’ and ‘Open’ classes.

Awards will be presented in each Group for placement, as well as special recognition awards for Best Effect, Best Percussion, Best Color Guard, Best Music & Best Visual.

Tickets for the competition will be available at the gate and are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, students, & military with ID. Children 5 & under are FREE. Cash & credit card will be accepted. Presale tickets can be purchased through the website below. Hot & cold food, snacks, drinks, air & candy grams and souvenirs will be available throughout the competition.

The school address is 85 Sunset Road, Pompton Plains, NJ. The stadium entrance is located on West Parkway near the intersection with Sunset Road, across from Chilton Medical Center. Handicap parking will be available and the stadium has an entrance ramp.

Before you purchase advance tickets, please be aware of the following:

- These tickets are non-refundable.

- You must provide a valid email address to receive the email confirmation of the purchase.

- No physical ticket will be sent. To the event, you should bring either a paper copy of the email confirmation or be able to bring up the email confirmation on your phone when you arrive at the entrance to the competition.

- You must include the specific names of those who will be attending as part of the purchase. We will check the names of the purchaser and all attendees against a list based on the purchase for each transaction. You should also have a valid ID available (driver's license, work ID or school ID) that matches the purchaser's or attendee's name.

- If you are purchasing on behalf of another person that will not be arriving at the same time as the purchaser, please provide them with the transaction number from the email confirmation, as well as the last name of the purchaser. They must bring their own ID, as well. This will speed verification and entry.
